How We Got Our Name

My Dad loved cars. He spent his life working on them as a full-time mechanic and on the weekends restoring several classic cars.

His pride and joy was a 56 Chevrolet Bel Aire 2 Door Hard Top. It was turquoise and white with double white wall tires. A real beauty. Some of my best memories with my Dad are of helping him in the shop and weekend drives with the family in the good ole’ 56.

Dad was never afraid of hard work and when I started 56 Home Loans, I wanted something to remind me of the joy that can be found in meaningful work.

Below is a picture of Dad and I in front of the car. Dad sold the car years ago to a collector, but the memories will always be part of our family history.
